Our Church of Santa Barbara, located in the center of our magical town, is a unique and charming work for our community.
The Church of Santa Barbara arrived on the coasts of Santa Rosalía in 1895, where it arrived by mistake in our Magical Town, Santa Rosalía. This work was directed by Gustavo Eiffel, the famous creator of the "Eiffel Tower" located in Paris, France.
Our Church of Santa Barbara arrived by the ship called "San Juan" and in 1997 it was assembled in the central area of Santa Rosalía.
It is called Santa Barbara after the virgin who represents it, "The Virgin of Santa Barbara," who is the patroness of miners, firefighters, artillerymen, in short, everything related to fire and explosives.
To learn more about the history of the arrival of our church, you can consult the tour "El Minerito," which you can find in the "TOURS" section.
